We offer a wide range of both indoor and outdoor climbing courses, provided by fully qualified instructors on dates to suit your availability. Locations include the Wye Valley, Peak District, and North/South Wales.
Indoor Climbing Taster Session - our indoor taster sessions run for a few hours and are perfect for complete beginners looking to try something new.
introduction to Indoor Climbing - introduction courses are ideal for people looking to learn the basic skills required to climb and belay safely indoors.
Intermediate Indoor Climbing - aimed at climbers already comfortable with the basic skills, the improver course focuses on the skills and techniques needed to develop further and push your grade.
Learn to Lead Indoors - comfortable top roping and wanting to learn the skills to 'lead' climb safely indoors? We provide tuition on lead climbing and belaying in a safe environment with an experienced instructor.
Outdoor Climbing Taster Session - similar to our indoor taster sessions, these courses are ideal for people with no previous experience looking to try rock climbing in the great outdoors.
Introduction to Outdoor Climbing - this course is perfect for beginners looking to learn the skills required to climb safely outdoors. Course includes basic rigging systems for top/bottom roping.
Intermediate Outdoor Climbing - aimed at compentent indoor climbers and those relatively new to outdoor climbing, this course will give you tips and tricks to progress on a range of differing rock types.
Indoor to Outdoor Transition - if you are already happy with the basic climbing skills and looking to move outdoors, then this course is perfect for you! Get in touch for more details.
Looking to learn navigation techniques or simply get into the great outdoors, we can offer an adventure to suit your needs. Courses offered in the Brecon Beacons, Black Mountains, and North Wales.
Guided Walks - ever wanted to get up into the hills but never knew where to start? Our Mountain Leaders can guide you to some amazing summits without the worry of ever getting lost!
Introduction to Navigation Skills - this course looks at making route cards, different map types, basic compass work, and recommended equipment needed for hill walking in the UK. This course is also suitable as a navigation refresher if you have some previous hill walking experience.
Intermediate Navigation Skills - building upon our 'Intro to Navigation', this course looks more at map features, contour lines, and the advanced compass work needed to experience the great outdoors unaided. This course can also be used as a refresher to prepare for a Mountain Leader assessment.
Advanced Navigation Skills - all the skills and techniques required to stay safe when the conditions become unfavourable are covered on this course. Generally delivered through overnight stays, navigation in poor visibility and the dark form the basis for this course.
Expedition Skills - all the required skills needed to spend single or multiple nights in the hills are covered on our expedition skills courses. Set in the same environments that you would be using these skills, we look not only to teach the skills required to spend multiple days out, but to also give plenty of advice adn tips on making your experience as comfortable and stress free as possible.
Guided Scrambling - 'scrambling' is a mixture of hill walking and climbing, we provide guided scrambles throughout the idyllic North Wales, popular summits include Crib Goch and Tryfan.
Our expeditions offer you a chance to get away from all the stresses of life and enjoy the natural environment surrounding us. Limitless Adventures offer eveything from overnight walking/canoeing trips, to multi-day expeditions across the UK.
Overnight Walking Trip - a full day of walking (combined with navigation tuition if wanted) leading into a wild camp in the hills and walk out the following day. This course requires you to carry your kit for the duration of the course, a challenging and rewarding way to spend a weekend away! With such an amazinf range of venues available this course really does offer something for everyone.
Overnight Canoe Trip - generally based on the River Wye there are a number of possible start/finish points depending on your needs. You will be taught the skills needed to control your canoe as you drift down to your overnight camp location where you will be shown a range of ways to create a shelter which you will then stay in for the night, all of this before you hop back on the water the following day to finish off your trip.
Multi-Day Walking Trip - similar to the overnight walking trip, this course offers the chance to get away for multiple nights whilst being self sufficient. Possible locations include the Brecon Beacons, North Wales, and Scotland.
Multi-day Canoe Trip - the ideal course enabling you to get away for multiple nights, without having to carry all your kit! Possible locations include the River Wye (up to 4 nights) and Scottish Lochs (up to 8 nights).
Multi-Day Walking and Canoeing Trip - why not combine walking and canoeing to create the perfect expedition? Although possible (and still amazing) in the Wye Valley, the true expedition getaway location is in the wild Scottish Lochs and Highlands! All the required canoeing, navigation, campcraft skills will be taught throughout your time in the great outdoors.
Ever fancied a nice relaxing day on the water? We provide solo and tandem courses on both flat and moving water tailored to your needs. Locations throughout Wales and the Wye Valley.
Introduction to Open Water Canoeing - the perfect course for people keen to learn the basic skills required to control a canoe. Alongside practical coaching we also offer advice on boats, paddles, and safety equipment.
Intermediate Open Water Canoeing - an ideal course for solo paddlers looking to improve their efficiency when paddling over longer distances, differing forwards paddling strokes will be explored and basic sailing can also be included if required. This course is ideal for those preparing for a 4 star leadership award.
Advanced Open Water Canoeing - this course is aimed at paddlers who have the foundation open water skills consolidated and are looking to upgrade their skills to operate in more challenging open water conditions.Ths course is ideal for those preparing for a 5 star leadership award.
Introduction to Whitewater Canoeing - this course is aimed at competent flat water paddlers looking to move their skill base onto moving water, a perfect option to develop in a safe environment with one of our experienced UKCC whitewater coaches.
Intermediate Whitewater Canoeing - aimed at paddlers with previous experience on moving water, this course looks at the skills and techniques needed to control and manoeuvre your canoe on whitewater. This course wil be delivered in a grade 1/2 setting, it is also possible to look at traditional skills on one of these courses.
This course is ideal if you are preparing for a 4 star leadership award.
Advanced Whitewater Canoeing - similar to out intermediate whitewater canoeing course but in an advanced environment, this course is aimed at paddlers comfortable on grade 1/2 lookoing to apply their skills on grade 2/3 rivers. Alongside the technical skills required to paddle on grade 2/3, the tactical and pychologocial elements of advanced whitewater canoeing will be covered in depth. This course is ideal preparation if you are looking to complete either your 5 star training or assessment.
Whether a complete beginner or an experienced paddler, Limitless Adventures can offer coaching and guiding to suit your needs. Both flat and moving water sessions available throughout Wales and the Wye Valley.
Introduction to Kayaking - the perfect course for people keen to learn the basic skills required to control a kayak. through this course will will look at all the foundation skills required to control and manoeuvre your kayak in an open/flat water setting. Alongside practical coaching we also offer advice on boats, paddles, and safety equipment. All equipment can be provided if required for this course.
Introduction to Waterwater Kayaking - this course is aimed at competent flat water paddlers looking to move their skill base into a moving water setting. A wide range of skills will be looked at to enable you to control your boat when working in a moving water envirnment. Time will be spent on grade 1/2 looking at the keys skills required to keep you upright in your kayak, this course is a perfect option to develop in a safe environment with one of our experienced UKCC whitewater coaches.
Intermediate Whitewater Kayaking - a course ideal for paddlers comfortable on grade 1/2 rivers looking to refine, consolidate, and apply their moving water techniques into a grade 2/3 environment. Alongside the technical skills, both tactical and psychological skills will also be covered in depth due to the more dynamic and complex environment we will be working in. This course is ideal for those preparing for the 4 star leadership award.
Advanced Whitewater Kayaking - similar to the intermediate whitewater course but paddlers should be happy on grade 2/3, and keen to progress onto 3/4 before booking onto this course. Once again, key tactical and psychological skills will be looked at alongside the technical skills required to operate in advance whitewater conditions.
Rolling, Support Strokes, and Water Confidence - this course is aimed at building up your confidence when in a kayak, preventing a capsize if possible, and ultimately the skill of rolling back up in the event of a capsize. The basis of this course is the indivudalised approach depending on your needs and starting point.
Our experienced paddlesport coaches offer British Canoe Union recognised courses for both groups and individuals.
Paddle Explore Award - a multi-craft award based on flat/open water. A range of foundation paddlesport skills will be looked at on this course.
White Water Kayak Award Training & Assessment - delivered over 1 or 2 days, this course looks at the key skills for intermediate paddlers.
Canoe Award Training & Assessment -
delivered over 1, 2, or 3 days, both open water and moving water skills will be looked at at an intermediate level.
Touring Award Training & Assessment - delivered over 1 or 2 days, this course looks at the key skills for intermediate paddlers.
White Water Kayak Leader Training - aimed at those looking to lead on grade 2 (3), the white water kayak leader training course prepares candidates for the white water kayak leader award.
White Water Kayak Leader Assessment - 2 day assessment of skills required to safely lead a group on grade 2 (3) whitewater.
Open Canoe Leader Training - aimed at those looking to lead on grade 2 (3), the canoe leader training course prepares candidates for the canoe leader award.
Open Canoe Leader Assessment - 2 day assessment of skills required to safely lead a group on grade 2 (3) whitewater.
Foundation Safety and Rescue Training - a flat water award looking at the safety and rescue skills required to perform rescues and manage safety with groups.
White Water Safety and Rescue - covering the safety and rescue skills commonly required on moving water, this course is a pre-requisite for the canoe/white water kayak leader assessment awards.
Paddlesport Instructor Award- the first step on the coaching ladder, this 2 day course trains candidates to plan and deliver introduction/taster sessions in a range of paddlesport crafts.
